Turn every catch into a collectible sticker.
Offline-first fishing journal

Keep the catch. Keep the feeling.

FishySticky turns an on-the-water photo into a collectible sticker card, then keeps your fishing day, catch notes, and collection timeline together on your device. No forced account. No ad clutter. Just a calmer way to remember what you caught.

Built for the first runnable launch

Phase 1 focuses on the real app already in this repo: local storage, live camera capture, background removal for sticker creation, a collection board, a calendar of fishing days, and a lightweight settings area for policy and support links.

📸

Capture in the moment

Start a fishing session, snap the catch inside the app, and preview the sticker before it lands in today’s timeline.

🪪

Collectible sticker cards

Every catch becomes a front-and-back sticker card with room for species, weight, place, and your own notes.

🗓️

Remember the day, not just the fish

Track fishing days as empty, active, or catch-filled, then jump into a date to review or clean up details later.

🔒

Privacy in plain language

FishySticky v1 is local-first. Your fishing days, stickers, and notes stay on your device unless you choose to share something outside the app yourself. The camera permission is used only when you collect a sticker from a live photo.

🌿

Lightweight by design

The current build does not require sign-in, subscriptions, or ad SDKs. The focus is a relaxed memory-keeping flow that feels more like a sticker book than a dashboard.

Quick answers

These are the launch-safe expectations for the current Android build.

Does the app work without an account? Yes. Version 1 is designed to work locally on-device without mandatory sign-in.
What permission does it use right now? The Android app currently requests camera access so users can capture a fish photo inside the app and turn it into a sticker.
Can I recover my data after uninstalling? Not in this first version. Because the product is local-first, uninstalling the app or switching devices can remove existing data unless the user has their own external backup.
